Workshops & Education

Audrey Lane is an experienced educator and facilitator, working with schools, youth, adults, festivals, and organizations to deliver arts, science, and interdisciplinary workshops.

Their approach to education centres community, creativity, and connection to place. They design and lead programming that builds skills and confidence in poetry, spoken word, film, and ecology. For their work at the intersection of arts, science, and education, Audrey Lane was awarded the Award of Excellence for leaders under 30 from the Canadian Network for Environmental Education.

 
They have experience working with diverse communities, including youth, queer participants, and people with disabilities, and are committed to creating inclusive, accessible, and responsive learning environments. Their work aligns with a range of educational curricula and can be adapted to suit different learning contexts.

 

Audrey Lane’s work is informed by their artistic practice, as well as experience as a park naturalist and outdoor guide. They hold a BSc in Environmental Studies and Physical Geography from the UVic and are currently completing a Master’s in Environmental Education and Communication at RRU.
